‘Macho’ Camacho got shot in jaw, in critical condition

The former Puerto Rican boxing champion Hector “Macho” Camacho (50) last night in his homeland shot. The triple world champion was in his car when another vehicle from him was fired. He was shot in the head and is now fighting for his life in hospital.

“I can not comment on his chances of survival,” says Ernesto Torres of the Medical Center of Rio Piedras.“Fortunately, the ball does not hit his brains.” Camacho, who became world champion in three different categories, is not blameless leaf. So he has a drug history and was even accused of family violence. Last year he would have his son abused in the home of his ex-wife in Florida. (DLA)
